I started practicing yoga in 2010. I love fitness, living a healthy lifestyle, and being conscious of self…so adding yoga to the mix just fit! I decided to became an AFAA Group Exercise Instructor to start teaching yoga for the Spring semester 2011 at ULM. I was self-taught; engulfing myself in learning, sharing new poses, and flow variations that I would research. I decided to seal the deal and become a certified yoga instructor through Live Love Teach. I currently have my 200 hour RYI certification since April 2013. I love teaching Power yoga because of the physical and mental challenges the practice offers and how it can be applied to my daily life. I continue to enrich my life through yoga and plan to grow with my practice. Everyone’s potential is limitless and I hope to share that perspective with my fellow yogis!
